A native of Hershey, Pennsylvania, Molly came to New Orleans from Philadelphia after receiving her BA in Political Science and Urban Environmental Studies from Drexel University. As an undergrad she participated in a committee that focused on making Drexel a more sustainable University. Molly has interned with the Susquahanna River Basin Commission, American Friends Service Committee, Academy of Natural Sciences and the Philadelphia Water Department. Through these experiences she became interested in stormwater management and urban planning. In 2010 she moved to New Orleans to attend the University of New Orleans' Master of Urban and Regional Planning program, where she specialized in Hazard Mitigation and Disaster Planning. Her time at UNO gave her the opportunity to work on water management and environmental planning with such organizations as UNO's Center for Hazards Assessment, Response & Technology and the Hazard Mitigation Office of New Orleans. Molly is excited to be working for environmental justice in Louisiana as a part of LABB.
