Community group: Lower Ninth Ward Center for Sustainable Engagement and Development (CSED)
In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, the Louisiana Bucket Brigade began supporting the Lower Ninth Ward through the work of the CSED. This partnership lasted from 2005 – 2009 and focused on green building use of solar power in the neighborhood. Our key partner in the work was Pam Dashieel, who passed away in late 2009.
