The Louisiana Bucket Brigade has not and has no intention to sue the Concerned Citizens of St. John. We fiscally sponsored the Concerned Citizens of St. John and we are trying to disburse the funding to the organization, but there isn’t agreement among group members. We have consequently asked for a judge’s approval on our plan to equally divide the funding between the two projects that have emerged from the group.

We admire the work of all concerned and remain dedicated to supporting grassroots environmental justice organizing.
